EN / SWE

ABOUT
When my American friends visited me in Stockholm they opened my eyes to words that seemed out of place to the English speaker. For example, a large sign on top of a floating building in Hornstull spelling BAD, which means bath or bathhouse in Swedish. I was fascinated by the fact that I had never noticed this before and realized that there must be several hundred words just like bad that exists in both languages but have different meanings. En/Swe is my quest, digging out these words one by one. For now they are illustrated with scavenged images and dictionary entries in my blog Re: the stack but a book is in the works. I don't own the rights to the images below or on the blog, so if you spot your work and would like it removed please let me know.
